The mission of Spotlight Cast & Crew is to provide a musical theatre experience that is directed, choreographed, designed (lighting, sound and costume) and performed by students in grades 8-12 in the greater Fort Worth Area. The objective of our mission is to provide an annual three-week intensive in the summer at no cost to any of the students involved. Disney’s The Little Mermaid
2024 PRODUCTION
In our 2024 student-led production, Spotlight Cast & Crew brought Disney's The Little Mermaid to life, showcasing the talents of 35 students hailing from 12 different schools across the DFW metroplex!
Chicago: Teen Edition
2023 PRODUCTION
For our 2023 student-led production, Spotlight Cast & Crew produced Chicago: Teen Edition, which featured the work of 31 students from 15 schools all over the DFW metroplex!
Legally Blonde: The Musical
2022 PRODUCTION
In June 2022, Spotlight produced an entirely student-led production of Legally Blonde: The Musical that featured 33 student artists from 16 different schools in the DFW area!
A Chorus Line: High School Edition
2021 PRODUCTION
Spotlight’s inaugural student-led production was A Chorus Line: High School Edition in June 2021. The production featured 25 student artists from 8 different schools in the DFW area!
